While the entire country is struggling with the second wave of Covid and the country's administration is overwhelmed with the increasing number of cases and lack of infrastructure, the condition in Gurgaon is no exception. While the city administration is struggling to cope up with the situation, there are some positive initiatives that individuals and groups have taken to ease the pain for the residents in these 4 residential communities.
RWAs of these 4 residential communities developed by Ireo on the Golf Course Extn. Road in Gurgaon have come together to create a 10 bed facility with oxygen supplies and other requisites to ease the pressure and to help the residents who may be going through Covid, apart from this there is a permanent ambulance that serves as a back up for emergency cases to be shifted to hospitals. This facility has been created in a proposed nursery school located in Sector 60, Gurgaon. (Right Opposite to Ireo Skyon)
While each individual community's RWA has done whatever best they can to contain and to help the residents in these pandemic times, however, this joint initiative could pave way for other localized residential communities in a specific location to join hands and follow the same model to ease the situation.
At the forefront of the initiative has been a pro-active resident Mr. Rahul Dahiya, General Secretary at of one of the RWAs of a good quality residential community in Gurgaon called Ireo Skyon in Sector 60, Gurgaon along with the key RWA members of 3 other residential communities located within the same vicinity of Golf Course Extn. Road. These communities include Ireo Grand Arch, Ireo Uptown, Ireo Skyon and Ireo Victory Valley.
It certainly goes out to prove that an individual can positively influence a group to create positivity and change for good. Kudos !!
